International calls and text or MMS messages are the ones you make from within Belgium to abroad.

What is roaming?

Roaming is emitting or receiving calls, sending text or MMS messages and consuming data while being abroad. Roaming is free when you are travelling inside the European Union.

Outside the European Union, Proximus provides a Daily Roaming Pass to ensure a worry-free experience when travelling.

As of 01/01/2025, the price of the Daily Roaming Pass (zone A and zone B) will change: + €1.54/month. Learn more about our new tariff conditions.

  • Prices include VAT.
  • The applicable rates for calls, SMS, and MB depend on the tariff zone of the country visited. To find out the tariff zones, consult the FAQs on Proximus.be/roaming
  • Calls are billed per second starting from the 61st second.
  • Abroad, the displayed price for calls and SMS to Value-Added Service (VAS) numbers is the price applicable to local users. Roaming call rates to value-added services are billed as follows: from the EU Zone, Zone A, and Zone B: €3/min; from the Exception Zone: €6.17/min (incl. VAT).
  • Mobile internet is billed per KB.
  • Proximus is not responsible for the provision of the roaming service offered by foreign operators nor for any issues related to the provision of this service.

Controlling your budget when you’re abroad is not always easy. To help its customers, Proximus has developed roaming offers that respond to this need. However, these offers may differ, depending on the country you are in. Proximus therefore uses and keeps the data of the country you are visiting for 60 days, to keep you better informed.
