International calling or texting?
International calls and text or MMS messages are the ones you make from within Belgium to abroad.
What is roaming?
Roaming is emitting or receiving calls, sending text or MMS messages and consuming data while being abroad. Roaming is free when you are travelling inside the European Union.
Outside the European Union, Proximus provides a Daily Roaming Pass to ensure a worry-free experience when travelling.
As of 01/01/2025, the price of the Daily Roaming Pass (zone A and zone B) will change: + €1.54/month. Learn more about our new tariff conditions.
The following provisions apply insofar as they are not expressly contrary to the specific provisions applicable to the services:
- Prices include VAT.
- Calls are billed by the second starting from the 61st second.
- Outside Belgium, the rate of calls and texts to special numbers (including local 0800 numbers) depends on the fees charged by the foreign operator. The national rate does not apply for such calls and texts.
- Mobile Internet is billed by increments of 100 KB.
- Calling minutes, texts, and MB are valid in the following countries according to the zones covered by the Daily Roaming Pass:

- Zone Europe:
Daily Travel Passport
- This option is only available for prepaid customers. You only pay per actual day of use. The daily price from €5 is activated as soon as you make a call, send a text message to a country of this zone, from the European Union or to Belgium, use more than 200 KB of mobile data or receive a call in the "Top Destinations" zone.
- A day of use starts and ends at midnight, Belgian time. Unused minutes, texts and MB are not carried over to the next day.
- The calls are debited per second starting from the 1st second.
- Within the bundle, data volume is billed by increments of 100 KB, as from 200 KB of usage. For usage under 200 KB, and once the volume included in the option has been used up, the standard rate will apply.
- No subscription fee.
- Pay&Go customers must have at least €1.50 of credit on their card to be able to call from abroad.
Controlling your budget when you’re abroad is not always easy. To help its customers, Proximus has developed roaming offers that respond to this need. However, these offers may differ, depending on the country you are in. Proximus therefore uses and keeps the data of the country you are visiting for 60 days, to keep you better informed.
