Installing fiber in your home
1. Choose your fiber product
Once the deployment in your street is completed, we will contact you to choose a fiber product and to schedule an appointment with a technician.
2. Fiber installation
During the appointment, the technician will install fiber in your home. This is done using an existing conduit or by drilling an invisible and fully sealed hole in the facade. In apartment buildings, we install fiber via a vertical tube along the stairwell.
3. Enjoy fiber
During the same appointment, the technician will also install your new Internet box and, in most cases, replace your Wi-Fi modem. You will then be able to fully enjoy your internet connection.

We always confirm appointments by e-mail. To consult or modify your appointment later, click on the personal link contained of this e-mail. However, appointment cancellations are only made by telephone on 0800 33 800.

As a tenant, all you have to do is submit your request to Proximus. The landlord cannot oppose the choice of operator, nor the installation of fiber at the request of the tenant. We nevertheless advise you to inform the landlord.
In a building in co-ownership, all owners will normally have already been notified of the arrival of fiber in the building through the general assembly or by the syndic/building manager.

Homes are not automatically connected to the fiber network when it is installed in your street. To benefit from it, you need to order a fiber pack or product from Proximus.

You can switch to fiber as soon as you want. However, we encourage you not to delay so that you can benefit from a free installation and enjoy the fastest Internet in Belgium as soon as possible!

It can take a few months to roll out fiber in a municipality. However, we are making sure that the works lasts no longer than a few weeks in each street.

When we carry out these works, we strictly comply with the legal provisions laid down for this purpose (article 99 on the right of frontage of the law of 21 March 1991).

Unifiber is the network builder that, in collaboration with Proximus, installs fiber in Wallonia. Proximus offers its products and services on the Unifiber network (Fiber Packs...) and will activate the products for free.
Fiberklaar is the network builder that will install fiber in Flanders and offers you free installation under certain conditions. Proximus offers its products and services on the Fiberklaar network (Fiber Packs...) and will activate the products for free.
Go Fiber is the network builder that is installing fiber in the Eastern Townships in collaboration with Proximus. Proximus will offer its products and services on the Go Fiber network (Fiber Packs, etc.) and will activate the products free of charge.
